The process of renting a car at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Intl. Airport (ATL) is fast and simple, as the car rental center is on-site. After arriving at ATL and collecting your luggage, you should follow the signs to the Sky Train. This is a free service which takes passengers on a scenic 5-minute ride to the Rental Car Center. On the SkyTrain, you can also access the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway, the Georgia International Convention Center, the Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel and SpringHill Suites Atlanta Airport Gateway. Get off at the second stop, for the Rental Car Center. From there you can take the escalator down to the Enterprise counter, on the third floor. Here you will be able to get your rental agreement. Self-service kiosks here are convenient for a cheap transaction.

Alternatively, you can take the International Terminal Shuttle, which takes passengers from the International Terminal to the Rental Car Center. This operates every 15 minutes.

If you choose to return your car to ATL airport, you will be able to follow the signposts leading to the Car Rental Center. After doing so, you’ll be able to get the SkyTrain back to the airport terminals.
